Hi,

Hope someone can help. I recently bought a acer aspire V5-571P laptop from PCWorld. Very nice laptop indeed. A week ago it developed a fault (actualy, I dropped it, and I hang my head in shame  Smiley Embarassed) so I took it back to PCWorld where apon they sent it away for repair. When I got it back, the hard drive was 90GB smaller, this being said as the hard drive is now different to when I bought it. My question is: is the acer's warrenty now "null and void"?

Thanks in advance

    Dear simmix,

I am truly sorry for what happened, acer rules and warranty  says that no one else than acer can open and fix or replace components OR warranty voids.

i know your situation but the rule is rule. Now as long you get it back but with a smaller HDD you need to talk to them about it cause this is shame from PCWorld to do something like that.

hope u get same HDD size and next time do not take it anywhere before you call acer as long u still in 1 year warraty
