v3 772g card reader

Hi, everyone.

I have a new v3 772g with win 8 sl 64-bit. I tried to use the built-in card reader with 16 gb micro-sd card, sound of connecting external device went off, but explorer would only show 'sdhc card', and double-click on it generates 'card is damaged'-kinda message. A 64 gb card isn't recognized at all.

I tried to delete and reinstall the driver for 'Realtek PCIE Card Reader' to no avail. I used the 6.2.9200.28130 driver provided here.

Any suggestions?

is the card readable in another device.

If so can you format it with another device and then insert into your notebook and see if works.

Cards are perfectly readable in digital camera and portable player, also i can access them thru those devices via usb.
