Aspire S7 Touch Pad Not Working (fn+T does not help)

The touchpad on my Aspire S7 does not work, and I have definitely tried the fn+T and alt+fn+T fixes.  The touch pad was buggy prior to it's total failure.  It would occasionally get stuck in the down click position, etc.  Now there is zero response whatsoever.

I'm not sure what response you are after here.

If it is under warranty, have Acer fix it.

If it is not under warranty, have a local repair shop fix it.

    Or use an USB mouse.

But, I expect that you already knew that.
