I have an Aspire V-5 series notebook. The system has got 1 drive (C: 682 GB). Now i want to shrink the drive and make it 2 drives (C: and D
A few days ago my friend just wanted to do the same with his (Aspire V-3 with pre-installed windows 8), he used EaseUS Partition Master and when he seperated the C: drive, system's boot and boot option just disappeared and he jsut lost all the data stored on HDD (including Windows 8, Acer Tools, Drivers and BackUps and Recovery drive)
My computer has already 4 partitions "Drive C:, Windows", 2 drives both named "Recovery Partition" and "EFI system partition"
Is there any other way to partition a drive without risk of losing the recovery files? I was told to use the "Shrink" option in Windows' "Manage" menu, but I'm not sure it would work or not.
Sorry for the long text. Thanks in Advance
