Acer Aspire 4750g bios hep

so i updated my bios from 1.9 - 2.10. the problem is. after updating the PC booted once. pero after that pagkarestart ko ayaw na niya ulet. it keeps getting stuck on the Boot up logo for the Motherboard. the function keys work such as brightness and screen dim. aside from that the F2 to enter bios doesnt work. and the F12 to select boot option is not accessible.

i've tried numerous ways from the nternet to reflash the bios. but im having trouble on the which or what files i should be using. aside from that im not even sure if im doing it right.

i've downloaded the Bios the oldest one in Acer's official site, formatted my usb to become a bootable drive for Bios reflash using rufus( freeware). i've copied the files from the download to USB.
i've tried the fn + esc to enter what they say to be the "service function" and waited approximately 2-5 mins.

aside from that i've tried renaming the WPH and ROM files ( 1 at a time) to either BIOS.CAP / BIOS.ROM / BIOS.WPH

none seem to work. of course i've already removed the battery.

so does anybody have some tips on how i can flash my motherboard? i've read that there are different ways to flash different bios. i hope someone can give me specific instrucitons on my Unit. thanks!

You MIGHT get this to work. I don't know. Have you unplugged the CMOS battery and

then plugged it back in ? Sometimes it will clear all info and go back to the orig

BIOS. There may be jumpers on the MB to reset BIOS or you may have to contact

Acer for a BIOS capsule for your model, but this may work.

i've already removed the CMOS. didnt do anything. thank you for the link. i have tried it. i just didnt understand the part about the Bios loader application. i've tried renaming the bios as stated above. is there any place where i ca n download the bios capsule? i've tried contacting acer through chat, but no one is available. through mail, yet no one replies. even an automated one. i've yet recieve a reply on the Question option presented here.

Why did you upgrade the bios in the first place? If your system was working fine there is really no real reason to do the upgrade as far as I'm concerned. Download your original BIOS image from the Acer site, unzip the file into a usb, turn off the unit, press and hold FN and ESC, turn the unit on, keep holding FN ESC for ten seconds after turning on. Let it sit for 5 to ten minutes.

actually. the system wasn't fine.when i changed hard drives cuz the old one was slow and was dying,atleast. whenever i restart my computer freezes just as it shuts its self down. so i decided to update the bios. i thought - hey maybe this just needs a bios upgrade so it can function properly. And that's pretty much what happend.

anyhow. ive tried multiple Bios images. but im not sure if im doing it right. should i leave it as a *.rom/ *.wph file? some sites suggest to rename the file. i've tried not renaming it and letting the file name stay the same. but, all for naught. every attempt failed. would you say that there is a "proper" file name that i need for my computer to reflash it's self?
