aspire 6530g Graphics Card

Hello all, I have the above model laptop and recently my graphics card has been having problem. I wand to change it and would like advice on the best to acquire.

Sandra, it's difficult to find ratings on video cards for your particular model. Your 16" screen will require a decent card, but it shouldn't be a problem finding one. Reviewers generally like your machine but point out that the installed graphics card isn't strong enough for heavy-duty tasks. So at least do not get a card that is equivalent in power to what you have.

 

Your current graphics card cannot play high-tech games (which might not be what you want) but look for one that can at least play them moderately well. That means that it will have enough power to operate your screen well.
