I have read reviews that say a CLASS 4 or 6 Micro SD card is better than a CLASS 10 for running apps from.

Any thoughts people ?

THere are many good brands. Your device should also support the speed and capacity. Otherwise at if higher speed is not supported then you will be wasting your money as Calss 4 cards are cheaper than Class 10.

    Class 4 = 4 Mbt/s

    Class 6 = 6 Mbt/s

    Class 10 = 10 Mbt/s

    Up to you...

Philman, thanks for taking the trouble to reply.

I am aware of the nominal minimum speeds of the each Class for the tests prescribed by the SD association which tend to be concerned with sequential reading and writing to the SD medium.

I have read that Applications often involve random rather thansequential Sd access and that some lower speed classes can be  faster in those circumstances than higher speed cards.

My question is really asking "If you have a tablet which manufacturers memory card and speed rating have you found gives you a good response when using an application".

I always use Sandisk Class 10 with my tablets (Acer W510 & Asus TF300T) and phones. I never have problem but it could happen!

I prefer to pay a little bit more and be secure.

Don't buy SDCard on eBay or in China...
