I took my laptop to Best Buy to have the DC-IN Jack repaired because it was pushing back into the case and my laptop could not power on. I was still under the one-year warranty for this issue. Best Buy wanted to charge me $323 to repair, stated it was considered accidental damage. I have owned many laptops and never a dc-in jack push back before - this is a cosmetic issue and not caused by accidental damage, so I refused to pay. Somehow, I am able to get a power to the laptop and now have two error messages "no battery detected", "wifi off". Acer please help because when I called your number I got a guy in India - when I tried explaining to him what the problem was - all he kept saying is: "you dropped it, that is accidental damage." I purchased my laptop the day Windows 8 came out I thought I was buying a superior product, this is turning out to be a nightmare. Please help!
