Is my windows invalid?

My laptop is telling me my windows is invalid. Could this be related to putting my hard drive into a different laptop recently.

    Yes. When you registered your copy of Windows, Microsoft took a snapshot of your rig. Now that it is in a different rig, MS thinks that you have it operating in two different computers, and that's illegal. You can solve the problem by contacting MS either by phone, e-mail, or their website.

    did you have MS licence code sticker  under notebook?

    Just as Vince52 is saying.  You will need to reactivate by contacting Microsoft.  Changing hardware will quite often result in this.

    what operating system is it? IF it is a Vista, last update is fully problematuc, in majors users provide to losing a key. As Inspiration101 saying, contact to MS via phone
