Not Able to Get Support from Acer for a broken part

I purchased my Tablet half a year ago, it is still under warranty, but I didn't keep the box.

The Tablet charger is not working anyhmore and I need to contact Acer support.

Unfortunatelly, they will not talk with you unless you have the serial number, that appeared on the box, but it is no where to be found in the tablet.

I do have a purchase invoice, but this doesn't include the serial either.

 

Does anyone has an idea what can I do?

    The SN is in the BIOS Information tab on a "W" machine but if you cannot boot then the only suggestion would be to contact the supplier on the invouce.

     

    When I bought my W510, both the s/n and SNID were on the receipt.

     

    It is a good idea to register with Acer on purchase so that it is on record.

    Tell the telephone operative they need to make a case using a fake serial number.  Don't take no for an answer.

     

    In all my dealings with Acer I have found them to be incredibly helpful and accomodating.

     

    Do you think you just need the charger or do you think there is a fault with your tablet ? What model tablet is it please ?
