Can only speak about what I have and those are 32GB devices that came with recovery disks. However it should be possible for someone to create a recovery drive on a flash memory and then copy the contents of the 6GB recovery partition on a 64GB device onto the recovery drive to create a bootable external recovery drive in case the recovery partion is lost.
This is only theoretical and I cannot test but am seeing quite a few issues with lost recovery partitions.
Is anyone here able to verify/refute ? If feasible it should be one of the first actions for a new device (or send the $20 to Acer for the recovery disks).
