Try the drivers page, under Documents for the "Kernel Source Code (Android 4.2 Jelly Bean)"

Hm, coming from Acer Tech, this answer is quite lame i must say Smiley Happy

that link provided is for "kernel sources" which gives you most (not all ) source to compile kernel for a1-810 but

it is completely useles since Acer decided to lock bootloader so even if you somehow manage to compile kernel

there is no way to put it on device because...again, Acer locked boot loader, so only Acer binaries can be loaded.

That being said, why is there no links to download updates that are usually sent to devices OTA (over the air ), because

even it might be unbeliveable for Acer, there is still lot of people without wifi access.

    Thanks.

As the updates are ONLY provided OTA, there is really nothing that can be done for those customers who purchase a WiFi only unit, but cannot connect to WiFi.

You are welcome to look through the reset article that we have available here:

can you remember the version you had? I have a working one so I could dump my System.img and send it to you... and since it is open source acer is not allowed to stop me doing it...

How do you check the version?
