Where are you attempting to install Touch Portal from?

    Why are you installing it?

I downloaded it, plus it is still on my recovery partition. I just want all the factory programs reinstalled, I ran recovery manager, and it hung up during restore, after many failed attempts I resorted to using a windows 7 disc, and I am stuck with no factory apps at all. My children use the touch portal all the time, but it says my monitor is not supported, yet, it works fine with touch.  Has me clueless....

I would try using the Recovery partition or media again to restore the system to factory defaults.

If there is a problem with the touch screen that is keeping the application from working, but still working within Windows (using native drivers or something else software related) then we would want to make sure that you are using the shipping configuration and software.

Once you've got the software back to factory defaults, Touch Portal should work.

I've tried recovery management to no avail. Like I said, I used a windows 7 disc, just to get windows to load again after the acer recovery failed numerous times.  Alt f10 does not work, it took me countless hours to get the eRecovery program to reinstall after I reloaded windows. I don't think its possible to re-install the touch portal software if you have to use a regular microsoft windows 7 disc... Thank you for your time.
