S7-391 boots up just by lifting the lid giving no opportunity to press F2 key to enter bios  to change the booting sequence from SSD to USB flash drive prepared as boot drive when making a full backup.

I will be obliged if any community member can help suggest away out so that I can enter boot menue before the computer boots up.

Thanks for help.

Regards

Have you tried QUICKLY lifting the lid and then IMMEDIATELY hitting F2  (several times)??

If that doesn't work do a HARD shutdown (with the lid up) and then hit the power switch.  IMMEDIATELY hit F2 several times.  On my new Aspire V5 - 122P that works.

Thank you very much. Your suggestions was very helpful and  revived my dead PC. The method that worked was to switch on the computer with the lid in open state and there was enough time to press Fn and 2 keys.

Your answer deserves 10 out of 10.

    Thanks again and kind regards.
