Hey guys,
I've had an Acer Aspire 7535G for 4 years and about a month ago I've had a big problem with it.
The laptop was working fine the day it happened. I left the house for a while and when I returned I started her up again. I pressed then power button. Like always, the blue light around the power button lit up and the hard-drive began to spin.
However, it immediately fell silent and the screen displayed nothing. I've tried connecting it to an external display via HDMI & VGA and it is still non-responsive.
I was doing exams at the time this happened, so I gave it to a family friend to look at because I was too busy.
He swapped the motherboard, HDD, CPU and RAM with a different models and still didn't work.
The Acer Aspire 7535G has an onboard and a dedicated graphics chip. He even tried the above without the dedicated graphics card.
I really can't diagnose what the issue is.
