I have an Acer Aspire 5610Z laptop using Windows Vista. Once mobile hotspot is turned off then back on and networks are reloaded via F5 key, my mobile hotspot will appear in my available networks listing with full signal strength. When I click to connect is asks for my password. Once my password is entered I get a message saying it was unable to connect for unknown reason and when I click diagnose all it says is "wireless association failed due to unknown reason" and gives me the option to try again, doesn't connect, after it says "repairing" for a long period of time saying that it tried to repair but the problem still exists. My laptop works on all other wifi connections but won't connect to ANY mobile hotspots. How do I fix this??? Smiley Frustrated

If you haven't already, pleased try the following:

Go into Network & Sharing centre, View available wireless networks.  Find the mobile network and then delete it.

Then do a new search for available networks and try to reconnect with it.
