W3-810 don't upgrade to Windows 8.1

I upgraded to the 8.1 preview.  Generall unstable.

Primarily the WiFi would start and stop.

Also the Mail app would not connect to some sites.  Seemed to be related to accounts of 2 or more GB.

Other than that it looks like it will be a great upgrade.

I restored back to the Recovery system.

Back to stable system.

i also upgraded to win 8.1.

    dont notice any wifi problems.

maybe the problem is your old router?

Had the same issues as the author when using 8.1.  Lots of bugs.  Also, when zooming IE11 to 125%, initial web page loads are unaligned unless you refresh. Went back to 8.0 and is much more stable. Ill wait for the official release.

How do you boot to the DVD image of Win8.1.

Many threads on how to change boot order but need to go into the BIOS setup and change to boot order do the DVD drive is first (need a self-powered USB DVD player or a powered hub particularly if there are other USB devices. I have found both the W510 mad W3 to be marginal on USB power and spinning a DVD takes A Lot.)

I have really had better luck with booting Windows to Go 8.1 from a flash drive or microSD so I do not disturb the base drive.
