Re: Predator Orion 3000 PO3-655 Case Replacement: Preparation, Implementation, Issues
Hi! I couldn't find the info back when I was doing it, so I compared the motherboards using photos =)
I made them semi-transparent and scaled them by the socket, then compared the mounting holes.
It's been about half a year, so I don't remember exactly, but I think ITX support is needed (though I'm not 100% sure).
Right now, you have at least two cases that have been tested and confirmed to work 🙂
I strongly do not recommend using a water cooling system.
There’s no dedicated pump header and the BIOS is really bad.
Fan control is pretty poor too. Air cooling is much more practical and safer on this motherboard.
Also, just a heads up — our lighting here is 12V, so any newer ARGB stuff won’t work properly without an additional controller.

I also used the front motherboard ports: a 50 cm USB Type-C extension cable, which makes it accessible without opening the case. For regular USB, I used a 2-meter hub placed under the monitor, where I plugged in the mouse and keyboard.
Re: Type-C ports not working! in Nitro AN14-41 but other USB ports work
Just as an example, I did the hard reset on my Nitro after 6 months and while it was under warranty, but I was very careful in opening the back cover and not to damage the securing screws and/or any of the plastic components like the back lid and its clips, as user are allowed to upgrade the ram and and add an additional M.2 SSD drive.
So a hard reset is virtually the same, as you need to open the back cover and take the back cover off, then disconnect the main battery and the bios battery and short its mainboard plugs +&- pins and then take the ram out, and leave it to reset for 30min and then put everything together. If your laptop doesn't have Acer warranty stickers that restruck you from doing all that then your can do a hard rest without the Acer warranty being voided, simple. Good luck.

Re: Predator phn-16-71 is showing no bootable device and ssd is not showing in bios
Before you consider a disk failure, you may have lost the bootloader (this can cause the disk to not be visible in the BIOS).
Try entering Safe Mode and see if you can access Windows:
Re: Why won't my Acer an16-43-r655 turn on but screen stays black?
Ok, that is a good idea to have an extended warranty especially with an AMD Nitro cpu, as they do give problems and do overheat also. In laptops, AMD cpu's are not as good as in desktops. Good luck anyway.
