Start by visiting Acer's official support page and entering your laptop’s serial number or model number. Once on the site, navigate to the Application section, where you should find the NitroSense software available for download. Click the link to download the setup file, then extract the ZIP file and run Setup.exe to install it. After installation, restart your laptop to ensure that NitroSense runs properly.

Re: Predator PO3-640 after adding extra m.2 the speed is way low than expected
It is not completely clear about the second SSD slot, but the primary is 4.0.
As you can see, the secondary slot does either NVMe (PCIe x4) or SATA, but they don't specify which generation they are using, and the B660 chipset supports both 3.0 and 4.0.

Bluetooth problem, Couldn't connect in Acer Aspire 5.
I have an Aspire 5. I have a few bluetooth devices I can use without problem. However, if I try to add a new device I get the following screen
I know there are lots of questions about Bluetooth but I haven't found any that fix this yet. All help gratefully accepted.

Re: PO3-665_H610 Very Loud Processor cooler. How do I remove the front panel
Hi JasuFinland,
For a quieter CPU cooler that will fit the PO3‑665_H610’s motherboard and case, look at models from brands like be quiet!, Noctua, or Arctic — they’re known for low‑noise designs without sacrificing cooling performance.
A good starting point is to use the be quiet! CPU Cooler Compatibility Check to confirm fitment for your CPU and case:https://www.bequiet.com/en/motherboardcheck
For most Intel 12th‑gen CPUs in this chassis, these models are worth considering:
- be quiet! Pure Rock 2 – very quiet under load, easy to install, good for non‑overclocked systems.
- Noctua NH‑U12S redux – slim profile, excellent acoustics, widely compatible.
- Arctic Freezer 34 eSports DUO – quiet fans with good thermal headroom.
All three are much quieter than the stock Intel cooler and should fit without interfering with RAM or side panels. Before buying, measure the clearance from the CPU heat‑spreader to the side panel — the PO3‑665_H610 case typically supports coolers up to ~160 mm tall.
Front panel removal:
- Power off and unplug the system.
- Remove the left side panel.
- From inside the case, locate the plastic retention tabs along the front edge.
- Press the tabs inward while gently pulling the front panel forward from the bottom.
- Once the lower clips are free, tilt the panel upward to release the top hooks.

Re: Acer TMP215-41 laptop only works on charger, battery not detected even after reset
If the battery is not detected in the TravelMate P215-41 OS and the battery has an X mark next to it, then its the laptops EC chip that is not communicating with the battery mainboard and the EC chip needs changing and reprogramming and the bios chip also needs reprogramming also.
This is a very involved job and you need to take your laptop to an experienced technician that can fix this fault and has all the programming tools and firmware for the EC chip and the bios chip, as they both need to be reprogramed. There is no resetting and/or anything that you can do to fix this. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
The EC chip is on the underneath of the mainboard as you open the back cover, as shown below.

Re: Acer TMP215-41 laptop only works on charger, battery not detected even after reset
Hi Zwone,
At 4½ years old, your battery is already well past the typical 2–4 year service life for lithium‑ion packs. Age‑related wear is by far the most common cause of “Battery not detected” symptoms — especially when the laptop shuts off immediately after unplugging.
EC chip failures do happen, but they’re rare and usually linked to liquid damage, power surges, or a failed firmware flash. Before considering invasive board‑level work like EC/BIOS reprogramming, the simplest and most logical step is to test with a known‑good compatible battery. If the new pack works, the EC is fine. If it doesn’t, then deeper diagnostics make sense.
In short: statistically, the battery is the prime suspect here — not the EC chip.
