Re: Acer XF240Y monitor stuck at 60Hz on PS5, can't enable 120Hz mode
- Go to Settings > Save Data and Game/App Settings > Game Presets and select Performance Mode,
- Go to Settings > Screen and Video > Video Output > 120 Hz Output and set it to Automatic
- Ensure you are using an HDMI 2.0 or HDMI 2.1 cable and that it is properly connected to both the PS5 and the monitor.

If the laptop screen flickers or shows distorted images before going black, the flex cable connecting the screen to the motherboard might be loose or damaged. Inspect the cable and re-seat it or replace it if necessary
