Re: acer nitro 5 AN515 -44 showing not chagring when gaming or battery blinking
First try and do a "Battery Reset - Press the Power button for 10 seconds to reset the battery" if that doesn't do anything, then and due to the Nitro 5 AN515 -44 that is a 5 year old laptop and if you haven't replaced the main battery, then buy a new battery, as these batteries last between 3-4 years, which could be the reason why your battery doesn't charge, also check the adapter charger if its not faulty also.
If all the above doesn't fix the charging issue, then your Nitro 5 laptop either has a faulty BQ chip that does the battery monitoring, protection, and charging capabilities and needs replacing or its EC chip is faulty and its not communicating with the battery and and need analysing and/or replacing and reprogramming. So I suggest that you take your laptop to an experienced technician as all these are complex tasks that only an experienced tech can do who has all the tools to fix your laptop. Good luck and hope this gives you a guide of what to do.

Re: acer nitro 5 AN515 -44 showing not chagring when gaming or battery blinking
Hi reeeeeddddddd,
This model was released with Windows 10 support. Acer did not publish Windows 11–specific drivers for it, and the last BIOS targets Windows 10. On Windows 11, the system relies on generic drivers, which can lead to EC/power‑management quirks like charging light blinking or “not charging while gaming.”
For best stability, stay on Windows 10 with Acer’s drivers and BIOS. If you choose to keep Windows 11, there are no Acer Windows 11 drivers to install; at most, you can try the latest Acer Windows 10 drivers where they’ll install, but EC behavior may remain inconsistent. Also, at ~5 years old, the battery may need replacement.

Re: Problem creating Windows 11 bootable USB after splitting install.wim to swm
Hi @AnhEZ28, I have already resolved my problem and successfully installed Windows 11.
Bootable USB with NTFS formatting does not work on all acer laptops and based on my experience, my UEFI/BIOS system won't recognize any USB with NTFS file system.
As for what I did, I mounted the Windows ISO file, copy all files to a folder in the desktop. Modify the property of the folder or files and allow the system to read and write on it. Then I split the install.wim using DISM command. After completion, deleted the install.wim original file as it's replaced by install.swm. I reformatted my USB as FAT32 and moved the folder from desktop to the USB. Then done. The bootable USB worked just fine after.
