Re: I want to add ram to my pc Acer Veriton N2474G. I can't open it and it has only one screw
To add RAM to an Acer Veriton N2474G, remove the single rear screw to slide off the panel, then locate the SODIMM slots, which may require removing an internal drive cage. Use a #1 Phillips screwdriver, ensure the system is off and unplugged, and firmly snap new DDR4 SODIMM RAM into place, checking for alignment.
Re: I want to add ram to my pc Acer Veriton N2474G. I can't open it and it has only one screw
Hello @Lazor,
To open your Acer Veriton N2474G (part of the Veriton N series), you must remove the single screw on the rear and then slide the side panel toward the back of the chassis to release it.
Opening the Case.
The Veriton N series uses a "tool-less" or minimal-screw design where the chassis cover is secured by a single point.
Locate the Screw: Look at the back of the PC (where the ports are located). There is typically one thumbscrew or standard Phillip's screw near the top or side edge.
Remove the Screw: Use a screwdriver or your fingers to completely loosen and remove this screw.
Slide the Panel: Place your palm flat against the side panel (the large flat surface of the mini-PC). Slide the panel horizontally toward the rear of the machine. It should move about half an inch before it disengages from the internal tabs.
Lift Away: Once it has slid back, you can lift the panel off to reveal the internal components.
Installing the RAM.
Once inside, the RAM slots are often located under or near the cooling fan or a secondary drive bracket.
Locate the Slots: The system typically uses DDR4 SODIMM slots (laptop-sized RAM).
Insert at an Angle: Hold the new RAM module at roughly a 45-degree angle, align the notch in the gold pins with the ridge in the slot, and push it firmly into the connector.
Lock in Place: Press the top of the RAM module down toward the motherboard until the metal clips on either side click into place.
Compatible RAM Options.
Please ensure you use DDR4 SODIMM modules and avoid "XMP" specific RAM, as the Veriton BIOS may not support those advanced timing profiles.

Acer Swift Neo OLED – Does it support battery conservation mode?
I recently bought an Acer Swift Neo OLED laptop and wanted to ask the community: does this model support battery conservation / charge limit mode (like limiting charging to 80%)?
Other laptops in the Swift series seem to support it and come with AcerSense pre-installed, but mine didn’t have AcerSense and I can’t install it either.
Is this feature supported on this model or am I missing something?
Re: Which Acer Swift or Spin Laptop Is the Best for Everyday Use?
Hi Henryheres,
For everyday use, the Acer Swift Go 14 and Acer Swift 14 AI are the top-recommended models due to their lightweight designs, sharp OLED displays, and strong battery life. While the Swift series focuses on a traditional thin-and-light laptop experience, the Spin series (now often integrated into the Swift or Aspire lines as "Spin" or 2-in-1 models) is better if you specifically need a touchscreen and a 360-degree hinge for tablet use.
Best Overall Everyday Laptops (Swift Series)
The Swift series is ideal for users who prioritize portability and performance for tasks like web browsing, streaming, and office work.

Re: Which Acer Swift or Spin Laptop Is the Best for Everyday Use?
For everyday use such as browsing, office work, and light multitasking, Acer Community discussions generally highlight the Swift 3 and Spin 5 as the most balanced choices.
The Swift 3 is praised for being lightweight, portable, and offering strong battery life. It’s considered reliable for students and professionals who need a straightforward machine that handles office tasks and browsing smoothly.
The Spin 5, on the other hand, is recommended if you want the flexibility of a touchscreen and convertible design. It allows you to use the laptop in tablet mode, which is useful for note‑taking, sketching, or presentations.
The newer Swift Go is also mentioned in community threads for its OLED display and modern processors, making it attractive if you care about premium visuals and a more future‑proof setup.
If portability and simplicity are your priority, the Swift 3 is the best fit. If you want versatility with touchscreen and convertible features, the Spin 5 is the stronger option. And if display quality matters most, the Swift Go is worth considering.
