Re: How to change OS language to English US from Danish in New Aspire 5
Hi CHDavidsen,
Thanks for the post. If your Aspire 5 came with a multi-language edition of Windows 11, you can switch the display language from Danish to English without reinstalling the OS.
✅ Step-by-Step Guide
- Go to Settings > Time & language > Language & region
- Click Add a language and select English (United States)
- After installation, set it as the Windows display language
- Restart the system to apply changes
⚠️ Important Note
If your system says Windows 11 Home Single Language under Settings > System > About, then only Danish is supported and you’ll need to reinstall using a full English ISO. Otherwise, the steps above should work.
ALT+F10 recovery will default to the region preset (Danish), so it won’t help unless Acer provided a multi-language recovery image. If the Settings method doesn’t fully switch menus, you can reinstall using a clean ISO from UUPdump.net with English preselected.

Re: Is this ASPIRE VN7 792G laptop still supported by ACER? I mean, drivers
Hi Marius,
Acer lists only 3 Window10 drivers for this model and no BIOS. That indicates no more support from Acer but you can still find most drivers and BIOS versions up to 1.09 on this reliable site and download for free: Acer Aspire VN7-792G Notebooks & Tablet PCs > Downloads Drivers, Manual and BIOS
