Update your drivers and BIOS

Outdated system drivers or a corrupted BIOS can cause startup issues.

Visit the official Acer support website for your

Predator 16-72

Download and install the latest BIOS update.
Use the Intel Driver & Support Assistant to scan your system and ensure all your drivers are up to date.

Run a system file check

Corrupted Windows system files can sometimes lead to settings not being saved properly.

In the Windows Search bar, type and open Command Prompt as an administrator.
Type the command sfc /scannow and press Enter.
Wait for the scan to finish and report any findings.
If it finds corrupted files, type the command DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth and press Enter.

Replace the CMOS battery
