Re: Acer Aspire A715-76G won't start on without charger, but battery works fine after boot
Possible cause might be power circuit fault, weak battery, BIOS bug, Loose battery connector or EC firmware issue.
Try the below steps:
Replace battery, update BIOS, reseat/clean connector and performing EC reset.
If the above did not fix the issue than the final step is motherboard repair

Re: No CMOS Battery found in Acer Nitro Lite nl16-71g-568t, BIOS resets on low power
Hi Strelok5
On this model the RTC (CMOS) backup is not provided by a traditional removable coin‑cell module. Instead, the RTC function is integrated into the mainboard power design, and there is no separate socketed or cabled battery to remove. In other words, it is soldered or embedded, unlike older designs where you could swap a small coin‑cell.
It is also very unlikely that the new CMOS component itself is bad, since these batteries typically last 12 years or more.
If you are troubleshooting BIOS resets or time loss, the only service path is through Acer Support, since the RTC component is not user‑replaceable. For confirmation and repair options you can check directly with Acer at https://www.acer.com/support

Re: No CMOS Battery found in Acer Nitro Lite nl16-71g-568t, BIOS resets on low power
Not every laptop has a bios battery which the Acer Nitro Lite NL16-71G doesn't have, look at the Lifecycle Ext. Guide PDF guide as there is no RTC/BIOS battery shown there also, which means that the bios is powered by the main battery and whenever you disconnect the battery the CMOS resets also. Good luck and hope this helps you out.
