I have the R7-371T, I did research this before buying, you won't be able to upgrade RAM. But even the base line model comes with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, which should be enough for light games.

The old driver installs in compatibility mode but it doesn't support multi-touch gestures. The newer ones when I install them make no difference. tried installin safe mode still doesn't work.

Thanks Jake, the old driver is already installed(A newer synaptics driver won't install in compatibility mode), I think a new driver from synaptics is needed. I checked Device Manager, Everything is working properly. In the Human interface Devices, There are HID-Compliant Pen which the driver is from 2006, similarly the HID-Compliant touch screen's driver is from 2006. there is a Synaptics HID Device with a newer driver from 2014 as well.
