Ok, will share once I am back home. Yeah, in PS you can only set 1 custom profile that has a set speed. Quite disappointing, when stuff like MSI Afterburner does all that and more for years.

When I set my laptop to custom cooling at about 1200 RPM then it stays silent and CPU temps are usually between 40 and 50°C when doing desk stuff. A gradual rise would have made more sense then a kickstart. You can counter that by setting a custom profile and let both fans run…

If you are confident enough you could try to open it up, clean it, repaste CPU /GPU depending on what temps go up that high (you just said laptop temps, is that system temp, cpu temp, gpu temp? Pls specify); Be careful about seals and warranty rights, depending on your country.

Please do me the favour and update this thread how you like your new laptop and how the quality is ( e.g. backlight bleeding, keyboard having reverb when typing at right side, temps, etc...) Thanks in advance and lots of joy with your new piece of hardware!

No clue when it gets released in the land of the free. We do not have a lot of guns in my country, so I am glad we have laptops instead ;) The thing is ok. Could have better sound, less backlight bleed, the keyboard is quite loose and swings which makes a reverbing sound when typing and the new Predator Sense software…

They release it with different dates in different countries. I own mine for almost 2 months now. Where do you live?
