Not sure if I got you right. So installing the battery it starts flashing immediately. Plugging the charger in, the LED is steady orange for approximately 3 mins, then starts to flash again. Also after unplugging it flashes, until I plug the charger back in.

ok thank you! I did what you said but i'm not so sure, if it ever would turn blue as still after a few minutes the charge LED starts flashing again :/

No, everything else seemed to be dry and obviously also still works very fine (when battery's not in..)
