I'm thinking about buying an Acer Aspire 3 A315-41-R3FH.

But 8GB Ram are not enough for me.
So I want to buy 2x8GB 2933MHz and overclock the CPU-RAM-Bus to 2933MHz.

Additionally I want to increase the memory for the GPU to 2GB.

Is that possible?
Does the BIOS have enough settings?
An option for the Ram-Timings would also be practical.

I am aware of the dangers of overclocking and don't want to discuss it here.
I just want to know if it is possible.

Nobody there who has looked into the BIOS to see if these settings are available?

You can use 2x 16GB RAM (a maximum of 32 GB RAM) with the following data:

Overclocking is generally not possible! In the bios there are in contrast to the desktop PC no adjustment possibilities!

Currently I still have an Acer Aspire 7750G. There I have a Bios flashed with which I can overclock him.
Are there special bios also for the A315?

If I understood everything correctly, I can't raise the Ram Bus.

So Ram with low latency and 2.400MHz would be the most effective, wouldn't it?

    Is this compatible?

    That should work.
