What leads you to believe it's not a disk error? Performing a Windows 8 -> 10 upgrade pretty much rewrites everything on the disk so if you had errors that's when they would show up. Have you been in the BIOS doing any changes? Changing from UEFI to legacy boot would give you that symptom. You can boot from the Windows 10 install disk and choose Repair, then let it try and repair the startup. Sometimes that will work...
