Acer aspire R3 series is not turning on

I have been using my laptop non-stop for about 5 days now for a homework, and I usually take it to school as well. Today after school I tried to use it but it won't turn on, the charging light is on and it doesn't have a way to remove the battery without unscrewing a lid.  Can anyone help me?

    welcome to the German part of the Acer community!  :-)

    Usually you should contact the international board, if you want to communicate in English.
    Nevertheless I'll try to help you; if my advice doesn't work, please ask further questions at the English speaking part of the community.

    You didn't tell us, which model of the R3 series you are using, but most of the devices have a battery reset hole at the bottom. Here a pic from the R3-131T:




    Remove the AC adapter from the device,  use a paper clip and press it into the hole for 4 seconds.
    Plug in the AC adapter, then test if the laptop now is booting as usual.
