Cursor jumps or randomly activates items in Windows

Why does my touchpad keep clicking items when I am typing?

When typing it is possible to brush or touch the touchpad, causing the cursor to jump around or even leave the window. You can lower the touchpad sensitivity, or completely disable the tapping on the touchpad.

Click the Start menu and select Settings.
Select Devices.
Select Touchpad from the menu on the left.
Lower the sensitivity option or uncheck the tapping options.
Close the settings Window to save your changes.
