Hello, I am trying to upgrade my laptop RAM to max which is 12gb on my acer m5 583p-5859. It currently has 6gb with one slot max 4gb. When I try to put an 8gb stick in the other slot the laptop won't even come on. The keyboard will light up for a split second then go off and keep attempting to come on. I have the right memory. I have even exchanged it to make sure it wasn't a bad one I bought. The main board is a MA50 made by acer. I have made sure the ram was seated etc. I put the original 2gb stick back in and everything is fine. Could really use some help please.
