unable to set-up Iconia W3 driver in Windows 7 desktop

I can download the driver for my W3 to my Windows 7 desktop, but I'm unable to install it. An error message pops up: This device is neither WT3 nor CHEETAH. I have contacted tech support twice and they just say to do the same download process I've already done repeatedly. I'm not tech savvy, so I'm lost Smiley Frustrated I downloaded CHEETAH and my computer says that's available, but I get the same result in trying to set up the driver. Any help would be appreciated--thanks.

What exactly are you trying to do ? ( W3 tablet drivers are for the Intel Clover Trail hardware with Windows 8 and not for a W7 desktop)

I'm trying to connect the Iconia to my desktop via USB cable.

And what do you want to do?

Exchange files and data? Use Cloud.

Make a network? Prefer Wifi, Bluetooth...

It is easier to just use network shares (turn on remote access). This is a real operating system not a stripped down Linux.

No Win 7 on a W3 or W510, Widows 7 does not have the power management drivers needed for a ventless design.
