After installing the Windows 8.1 update yesterday, my W700's processor gets stuck on 0,77GHz while unplugged. When I plug it back in the processor 'wakes up' and hits 2,65GHz again. I tried it on high performance mode, balanced and power saving; all the same outcome. Restarting windows doesn't work and I don't see any options in the BIOS concerning this.

On Windows 8 everything was working fine.

Anyone experiencing the same or knows how to fix this?

ots not a fault its a setting in the power management i just remember where it is. i'll look and reply

powee options - intel dynamic platform and termal framework settings

go to low power mode setting and set both to disable
