I recently bought a Aspire Switch 10 SW5-012-10JS how do I get windows 64bit on it? I have tried booting using an external DVD drive and also with a usb. None seem to work.

i don't think is worth to install an x64 system on 2GB ram device.
by the way, you must enter BIOS pressing F2 at boot
set a supervisor password
on BOOT section, change Secure Boot to Disabled
Set the DVD as first boot devive
EXIT saving changes

on BIOS
enable secure boot
then go to Security
tap on Erase All Secure Boot settings
disable again secure boot
Exit and Save changes
if still doesn't boot fomr the external DVD, please be sure to have AC adapter connected to the USB DVD.
if still doesn't work:
I was able to boot from USB pen on a SW05-011, so try to make a bootable USB Pen with Rufus from an .iso image of your DVD, setting GPT+EFI as partition scheme and format as FAT32.

i don't know if you can apply to Windows.
Download this:

and copy this file to EFI/BOOT folder inside your USB pen, where you burnt the windows .iso
