How to recover acer switch 10

I installed Windows 10. It is so treible and slow that I want to go back to Windows 8.1.

I have one backup made by the acer recovery tool and one backup with Windows 8.1 system image.

1- How can I use the backup I made by acer recovery tool and restore Windows 8.1?

2- I tried to restor the backup by Windows system image but I cannot boot from USB. I disabled secure boot in the section in which we can chnage the order of boot. I also put boot from usb hhd and usb cdrom first but still I cannot boot from usb and when I hit f12 there is just one option to boot into Windows 10. How can I boot from usb? the usb I use is bootable. I made is by Windows 8.1 recovery media.

The reason I could not boot by my USB stick was the usb itself, I could boot by another USB which I made in Windows 10.

Now assuming that I can boot from usb stick, how can I proceed and recover my Windows 8.1?

On the Microsoft webpage, they say that I can revert to previous installation before one month after the upgrade and I searched Internet for that however I don't have the option which the search results indicate I should have in the settings.

During installation of Windows 10, it said that I won't be able to do factoru reset anymore. Does this mean that I have to use Windows 10? I thougth it meant that when I use Windows 10 I cannot do factory setttung and upon reverting back I could do it again.

Did you do an upgrade unstall or a new install of Windows 10? If you did an upgrade then the option to rollback should be in settings. If you dud a new install of 10 then you'll have to wipe and reinstall from your 8.1 backup.
