Hi everyone,
I have an Acer Iconia 8W (W1-810), and I was trying to install another OS through my a USB pen drive. I already changed the boot order in the bios and disabled secure boot, but I'm not able to boot it. Is there a boot menu to acess it, if so, how do I reach it, if not, how can I boot the pen drive? Thanks in advance.

Edit: I enabled F12 boot menu, and tried both a USB pen create fom Universal USB installer(which is what I always use to install Ubuntu on a PC) and Intel's another with Win32 Disk Imager (With Ivy-Bridge Android from Intel's website). Boot menu only recognizes Windows...

Edit 2: Updated BIOS to 1.06, installed rEFInd on Windows, nothing... Doesn't seem to reccogize USB deviced outside Windows...

Discovered that this is a 32 bit EFI only machine. Managed to adapt Ubuntu image to have a 32 bit efi loader and managed to boot into the pen drive. Still having trouble installing but at least I'm in.

I have same problem on same tablet. I resolve on this way:

    1. I enable F12 boot menu

    2  Enable USB 3.0 support.

    3. Erase any security boot options.

    4. Set first boot device to be on USB HDD, second to windows boot manager.

    4. Create windows bootable USB stick with Rufos software. When making USB stick you must create it in FAT32 not in NTFS.only then you will be able to boot from your USB stick without problem.

    This is my way.

I hope this will be helpful for other users.
