Missing Intel/Realtek Sound Driver for Windows 7 (64bit)

Dear Community,

we have just received Intel Laptops (Acer Aspire VN7-792G-74Y9), which we are going to use with Windows 7 (64bit).

Now we have got an issue with the sound driver that we cannot manage to install. All another drivers are running without any errors.

The sound device is shown in the device manager with an yellow exclamation mark and means that it is not installed yet.

Here the device data:

Hardware IDs

------------------

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&SUBSYS_103A1025&REV_31

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&SUBSYS_103A1025

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&CC_040100

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&CC_0401

Compatible IDs

------------------

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&REV_31

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170

PCI\VEN_8086&CC_040100

PCI\VEN_8086&CC_0401

PCI\VEN_8086

PCI\CC_040100

PCI\CC_0401

According to our internet search (PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_A170&CC_040100) it is going to be an "Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology (Intel(R) SST) Audio Controller Driver"

We have already found many drivers (such as Realtek HD Sound Driver) and installed them but without success

Do You know how to find the correct driver for this device?

Thank You!

these driver doesn't exist on windows 7 version, since Intel supports it only from windows 8.1.

Does this mean that the sound can't work with windows 7 being installed on this computer?

    YES, absolutely RIGHT.

You will * not * see the sound card in Windows 7 and you will * not * be able to hear any sound with Windows 7.

    Technically possible work-around:

You can use a separate, external USB sound device. But this has nothing to do with the internal sound card of the notebook and needs to be purchased separately.
