webcam will blink rapidly but show no image after my windows 10 upgrade

Webcam will emit a rapidly blinking green light but show no image. Video Skype or the PC Camera application does not function ever since my windows 10 upgrade.

    no....i am not able to find the drivers for my E5-511-P8C8 on the acer website for window 10. in fact i reverted to windows 8.1 and my webcam will not work any more. any help will be appreciated

    When you pull up the list of drivers for your system, there is a drop down menu to select your operating system, choose Windows 10. I provided a picture so you can see that we have them posted for you. Smiley Happy

     

    You can see if the camera driver is listed in the Device Manager, if so, try and remove the driver and try to install it again by letting the operating system find the drivers for it.

    Thank you. Looks like the Windows 10 drivers are indeed available on-line now. However, I am not sure which one would be the webcam driver? can you please help?

    Open the Device Manager and under imaging devices (most likely) see if there is something listed. If so, right click on it and select uninstall. I would then restart your system and let Windows 10 detect and attempt to install the drivers.
