keyboard and touch pad not working after windows 10 upgrade
Hi,
Aspire Switch 10 notebook.
I have upgraded to windows 10 and now my keyboard and touch pad dont work! Any help would be appreciated. I cannot seem to find any driver or other updates.

Remove the drivers, do a restart, and let Windows 10 install the drivers.

I have the same problem on SW5-011 (Aspire switch 10) -- After upgrade to Win-10 the touchpad and keyboard no longer work.
Can you be more specific and provide more details for simple people -- What spcific drives to remove and how?
I don't see any Win-10 drivers for my system on the ACER download site.
More info:
I can connect external Mouse or keyboard to the USB port and they work -- but the touchpad and builtin keyboard do not work (Already applied the bios patch etc.).
No knowing better -- I thought it is a bad keyboard (odd, gone bad after win-10 update?), I got a new keyboard -- same problem.

I have made several machines functional by just forcing the latest Acer Win 8 or even Win 7 drivers that worked. Some have used HP or Dell drivers but I have never needed those. See my DPTF post on how to force.

I understand your comments. Though, the one relevant item on ACER download site for my system, SW5-011, is
"IO Drivers Intel Serial IO Driver 603.9600.1948.28229" which is listed for Win-8.1 32bits -- But, when you expand it, it states it is 64bits -- and when you try to force install it the OS also reports an error as it being for 64bits (the SW5-011 is running 32bits os).
Seems that ACER posted the wrong file.
The Aspire Switch 10 is a nice system, at least for my needs, but without the keyboard/touchpad it is useless, it is just another tablet.

had same problem after windows 10 upgrade on touchpad not working what i did was went into the bios and changed touchpad from advanced to basic and now it works

hi I am new to Acer help thing and computers are not my friend
I login use one mircsoft ID as admin update to window 10 restart after download and went to write an email the mouse pad thingee work but I could use my keyboard to type but could on the screen ... rung mircsoft and setup and new account ... the new account I can type on screen and with key board but I can't update if keeps failing . What is wrong with my computer do I need an other account again????
