I’ve just upgraded my Acer One S1001 to Windows 10 and realized that the sound is not working
Hi everyone! I’ve just upgraded my Acer One S1001 to Windows 10 and realized that the sound is not working. When I went to the support site, I found that there are no drivers for Windows 10 yet!! Only drivers for Windows 8.1 are available. Please provide the drivers for Windows 10, otherwise I’m not able play sound from my machine. Can someone please help? Thanks.

Try to install latest Realtek 2.79 version:

Hi,
Have seen many posts regarding the sound issue after upgrading to windows 10. Most of them got resolved by refreshing the sound driver from the device manager.
Access the device manager > Expand the sound, video and game controller option. Right click on the sound card and select Uninstall. (You will be prompted to delete the driver from the device. Please do not select it.) Once the driver is uninstalled, you can either scan for hardware changes or else restart the system. This should fix the issue.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I already downgraded the driver and can hear sound again but I hope Acer will offer upgrded drivers for Windows 10 for all device components. Especially I want better sound drivers as the current sound drivers are really bad!!
