ES1-512-P84G Windows 10 Cannot Update Realtek 6.0.1.7503 Audio Drivers audio upgrade

The driver downloads fine and begins to install but then says "failed" every time.

 

i'm using the Acer Care Center to attempt the upgrade.

 

Has anyone else entountered the same issue and discovered a solution?

  Hi,

   

  Try to install it manually from the acer driver page:

   

  Audio

  Realtek

  Audio Driver

  6.0.1.7503

  359.4 MB

  2015/08/18

  Download

   

  You can check to see if it will work this way.

   

  It can be that you have newer drivers installed by the W10 update system and it is causing the issue.
