Hello Community,

Ever since the installation (release) of Windows 10 i'm occuring this problem that my Ethernet keeps saying 'Limited'.

Well I guess it's limited quite a bit. I can't access the internet anymore. I'm constantly using Wifi eversince.

I've tried many options such as;

• dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth

• /sfc scannow

• Reinstalling the driver

• Rebooting Modem

• Network Troubleshoot

I've contacted the Windows support, no help. I've contacted the Acer support still awaiting.

But forums are always great so I hope one of you can help me out.

I have a Broadcom NetLink (TM) Gigabit Ethernet, Ethernet Adapter.

Kinds regards,

Billy.

    BMijnendonckx,

    It is a long shot, but you can try to use the drivers from our support site for Windows 7 to see if they work. The unfortunate side is that Acer doesn't have this model listed as an eligible model for the upgrade so no Windows 10 drivers will be uploaded for your system nor will they support the upgrade itself according to what I have been told (just want expectations set on your message to Acer). Try the driver from our support site though, see if that will resolve it for you. You can also, though lengthy, go back to your previous operating system, remove the drivers for the LAN right before you start the upgrade process and see if that fixes it too.

    Hi,

    yesterday I installed Windows 10, I have an Acer Aspire 5741 332G25Mn and ethernet it's running properly.

    I'm using Microsoft driver (k57nd60a.sys) not acer. You can use (I think) Broadcom driver instead.

    My acer has BIOS 1.23.
