Downloaded Windows 10, with 1 serious issue.  My DVD/CD player has become non-existent.  The message reads:

Dolby Advanced Audio Driver Version is 7.2.8000.17

but need

Driver Version 7.2.7000.7, valid driver and software application.

Where will I find this driver and software?

Please, please help,

Ozi

    Kudos,

I followed your instructions,  thank you, the 64 bit downloaded and installled, however, with the 32 bit, innstall shield replied that none of those drivers were supported, and would not install.

So my Dvd still doesn't work.

    still Dolby error?

    if so...

    http://www.station-drivers.com/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=353&func=startdown&id=1654

run the exe to extract files, then browse on the new folder for a setup.exe file and run it.

check if Dolby error is still here.

    Hi,

Thank you for responding.  I did download the file, found it in downloads, it did unzip, but that's as far it would let me go.  It just wouldn't open up so that I could "run" it.

i just downloaded the file, double click the exe and when it prompt extract to: just add a name on the string.

C:\Users\xxxxx\Downloads\realtek  (add realtek as last name), then click ok

then browse inside the realtek folder and run setup.exe

    Hi,

Thank you for your patience, it is appreciated.  Ok, I have done as instructed, and it has installed, and shows up under Windows 10 Programs, BUT, still no DVD player!  Do I need the software for the actual DVD player?  Would that help?  I wish!!!!!!

    Regards,

    Ozi

PS:  Just had a thought, I still have my OLD windows file.  Can I not go in there and get my DVD Player and whatever else I need, and somehow transfer those files to Windows 10, without causing any damage?

    Thank you, regards,

    Ozi
