X2632 G with cloned SSD Drive.

Once a month or so Veriton will not boot on power up. Get a windows failed to start error, 1. Insert your Win install disk, 2. Choose language settings, 3. Click Repair Your Computer.

Able to resolve by going into setup/boot options/1st boot device and setting to UEFI ssd drive in place of Windows Boot Manager.

Any ideas of why this happens.

Thanks.

Are you saying you're moving the SSD into the 1st boot position, but it does not stay there?

    This should fix it.

Boot with a Widows 8 disk or a System repair drive.

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

Boot from either and when you get to the INSTALL page, Click Repair your computer.

elect Troubleshoot, then select Command Prompt, enter "bootrec /FixMbr, enter and boot.

You may need to put Boot Manager back in 1st place.

I Will try the fix mbr, it is Windows 7 64 bit. I have 3 of these installed and they all have this problem.

I left the original drives in them as they were out of the box, but have since deleted the original boot partitions. Using the other partition as data drive.

    Thanks.

This is probably superfluous, but use a Win 7 disk.

If bootrec /FixMbr doesn't do it, reboot and run all three of these, one at a time.

    bootrec /FixMbr
    bootrec /FixBoot
    bootrec /RebuildBcd
