LAN Driver needed for x275 SFF

Hi all; new to this forum.

I put a new drive in this SFF Veriton, then loaded a clean (non-OEM) copy of Win7 Pro x 64 bit. Works fine and I found and installed drivers for VGA, audio and the chipset. I downloaded from the Acer site the LAN driver, but when I extract it there is no setup executable file, so I cant install it. How do I install the LAN driver for this mobo without re-installing the OEM version of the OS? It seems to be a Broadcom LAN.

The mobo is G41D01 rev 1.1. Build date is May 2012

Thanks,

rstew

are you talking about wireless lan or ethernet lan?

    if it's wireless lan:

    unzip the file you downloaded

then open windows 7 device manager

    click on network adapters

double click on the wireless adapter

choose to install or update drivers

and choose to browse computer to install drivers

then browse to the unzipped folder/files you downloaded and install the driver

It's actually an integrated LAN; not a WLan.

Regardless, I followed your guideline, and bingo, got it done. All is well.

Now I have to try and remember how to do that for the next time!

    Thanks a bunch!
