I bought DDR3 ram for my Acer Veriton x275 and I get a long beep after I install it. Its DDR3 ram to match the ram thats in it.
It's using PC3-10666 running at 1333Mhz so I bought PC3-12800 (1600Mhz) assuming it would downstep.
I even updated the BIOS but no luck.
How do I find information on the max ram module size and compatible RAM?
I have searched through included documentation.
I have entereed the serial in the Acer website and searched all content there.
I can't find information on this.

Hello,
1. The specifications:
It supports up to 4GB - DDR3 - 800/1066MHz (2x2Gb).
2. The original memory modules DDR3-1333MHz:
SpoilerKN.2GB07.002 DIMM.2GB.DDR3-1333.KINGSTON KN.2GB0B.014 DIMM.2GB.DT.DDR3-1333.SAM KN.2GB0C.007 DIMM.2GB.DDR3-1333.ADATA KN.2GB0F.004 DIMM.2GB.DT.DDR3-1333.TRANS.LF KN.2GB0G.015 DIMM.2GB.DT.DDR3-1333.HYN.LF KN.2GB0H.009 DIMM.2GB.DT.DDR3-1333.UNI 3. Intel G41 Express chipset
