Acer Veriton N282G unable to boot

I have had this Acer Veriton N282G-FD30F for the last couple of years and as of late, when powering it on, while the power is on and the fan is going, the power button's blue light doesn't come on and nothing is displayed on screen. There are no beeps heard and I am unable to use it at all.

Anyone have any idea what could be the issue, including any troubleshooting tips you may have?

    to troubleshoot:

    disconnect mouse and keyboard and try to power on;

    if you can't boot

    reconnect keyboard and mouse then you need to open your PC and try to disconnect ram and HDD then try to boot to BIOS pressing F2 at boot;

    if you can't boot

    insert ram and try to boot to BIOS

    if you can't still boot, it's an hardware issue, probably mainboard.

    I am able to get to the acer splash screen, have already tried removing RAM, HD, Etc, resulted in a long constant beep. So now I'm at the splash screen but no reaction from any keystroke. Have tried multiple keyboards in multiple ports and still nothing. Any suggestions?

    another thing to try is

    disconnect AC power

    open Veriton N282G

    disconnect the CMOS battery (yellow...looks like a candy)

    press the power button twice

    wait 10 minutes

    reconnect CMOS battery

    close it

    reconnect AC power and try to boot
