vn7-571g hdd not detected in bios

hi all

I bought it 3days ago and Originally this laptop comes with 1TB+8ssd sshd. I told to my provided to install Kingston SM2280S3/120G M.2 SATA SSD .now i have two drive.

but i have problem. often on bios the ssd and hdd not detected and some time  ssd and hdd are detected.

i tried change legacy to uefi but on difference.

how can I fix this problem ?

    SSD on your system was intended only as cache drive, not system drive, so BIOS has this kind of issues.

    are you sure?

    i said boss of them not detected on bios.

    sorry i missread.

     

    the 8GB SSD is part of your HDD since it's an hybrid device.

     

    have you already tried to load default settings on BIOS, save and exit, then check if both HDD and SSD are recognised?

     

    i would also contact who put the SSD and ask if he did a CMOS reset after connecting the SSD.

     

    sorry about the question, you said you change legacy to UEFI....are you using an OS that need legacy?
