My LP is 3 years old and was upgraded to windows 10 from it's old windows 8.1 format. Lately I've been asked to

download Acer Updates for my PC. I have not received Updates from acer in awhile. I updated a few a week ago but couldn't find any place to check them. I thought that windows 10 did all the updating as did windows 8.1. I'm obviusly not a tech wizz. Please help me out......

Windows updates Windows Updates. Go to http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

and you will find Acer updates. Any that are newer than when got the laptop should be downloaded and installed.

If there is a newer Bios update, wait until everything else is done and reboot.

Make sure you are plugged in and the battery has a good charge. Extract the bios update to a new folder on the desktop. Open the folder, click the executable and don't touch anything else unless told to. Make sure you are positive you are not going to lose power while doing this.
